I have worked in care since I arrived in the U.K. I am a Registered Nurse and have been managing care homes since 2014. I am very passionate about basic bedside care, together with my clinical skills, it makes my job worthwhile.

I am very supportive of my team; I appreciate all their hard work and dedication, they are doing the groundwork for the home, I like them to feel recognised, valued and supported by providing them additional skills and knowledge.

Brook House is a very lovely home, each one of our residents has their own story to tell, each one of them deserves the best quality care that our team is able to provide.

Hello my name Maria. I recently graduated from Kingston University in Business Studies thus started by career in administration management.

I am usually the first point of contact for people visiting our home- I show people around and help them with their check in process. I enjoy getting to know them and their families. I have always had a caring nature, and I love spending time with the older generation and hearing about their lives.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling.

Hi name is Radka Weeden.

I come from the Czech Republic and I have been working in the care sector for over 10 years. I live with my husband and two children in Surbiton. I love playing tennis, swimming and spending time with my family. I am extremely friendly and bubbly person. Being an activity coordinator gives me a real fulfilment of giving something back and delivering best quality of life for residents living in care environment.

Hello, I am Livina. I have worked at Brook House for 2 years now. I started off as a healthcare assistant, providing daily support to our residents. I have recently been promoted to Team Leader, where I still provide care to residents, but also manage and motivate the team on duty.

I’m really proud to be working at Brook House, and I’m happy to be part of a bigger team who believe in providing only the best for our residents and their visitors.

We provide everything to ensure our residents’ time at Brook House is more enjoyable and safe at our beautiful place. The peace and comfort of the home are my priority. I love playing football and spending time with my family and friends in my spare time.

Hi, my name is Rose. I am a Registered Nurse at Brook House and and it is my first place of work in the UK. I joined the home in April 2021. Before that, I worked as a nurse back in India. I have more than two years of experience working in Transfusion medicine.

I joined Brook House because I believe that I could provide compassionate care to residents and that I would have meaningful interaction with them on day to day basis. Personally, this brings me immense satisfaction.

I like to spend my spare time with my family and friends or exploring new things and places.

I have been working at Brook House since January 2019 as a housekeeper. I enjoy my job in every way and I love spending time with all the residents. I also take great pride in creating and maintaining a clean, tidy and safe home for residents and their guests to enjoy.
 
When I am at home, I love spending time with my family. I have two beautiful daughters that I am very proud of. One of my biggest passions is horse riding. My favourite activity is to take my horses Freddie and Eddie to Richmond park for a ride.

Team Leader and Dementia Champion

I am a Team Leader and Brook House’s Dementia Champion. I enjoy working alongside a great team of people who take time in their roles to offer a Person-Centred approach to Care and work closely with our residents to ensure they live in a Happy, Safe and Comfortable home.

I have always had a keen interest in Dementia and Brain Injury after my Brain Tumor was operated on and successfully removed in 2002. I feel this has brought me a natural empathy and understanding of people and their symptoms and side effects, and l feel this helps me in my role as Dementia Champion. I joined The Future Care Group in 2019 as l could see the company has a good reputation for Dementia Care and strive to improve their Quality of Care, along with their Core Care Values, which are promoted and lived every day within their homes.

Hi, my name is Arthur Krall and I have been working in the Brook House since 2013. I joined as a Laundry Assistant and grew into the position of Chef Manager.

I take my job very seriously as nutrition is extremely important for the elderly.

I enjoy speaking with our residents and discovering their likes and dislikes, so I can cater to their individual preferences.
